Thanks to the recent HBO movie which continued its story, fans of Deadwood have had plenty of reason to revisit the brilliant series. The series was set in the Old West, where the town of Deadwood represents one of the last lawless sanctuaries for all sorts of ambitious, violent and corrupt individuals. The series was critically acclaimed, yet only aired for three seasons before being unexpectedly canceled. The ending of Crisis on Infinite Earths “Part Three” suggests that Supergirl will take the spotlight in the next chapter of the Arrowverse crossover, despite the fact that it will air as an episode of Arrow. It appears that characters from Supergirl will factor heavily into the conflict with the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) for the remaining two episodes of the crossover event, which airs in January. So far, The CW has aired three installments of the crossover (Supergirl, Batwoman, and The Flash), with only two chapters left....

The Arrowverse’s Crisis On Infinite Earths has made DC Comics’ New Gods canon thanks to revealing the real name of the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett): Mobius. The biggest crossover ever has seen death and destruction on an epic scale; by the conclusion of the first three chapters of the five-part mega-event on Supergirl, Batwoman, and The Flash, every Earth in the Multiverse was destroyed by the cosmic villain’s antimatter wave. The Anti-Monitor’s wrath was felt by other worlds which are now canonically part of the Arrowverse, such as Earth-89 (home of Michael Keaton’s Batman), Earth-9 (where DC Universe’s Titans resided), and even Earth-167 (the world of Smallville)....

When players first heard the news that Darksiders Genesis would be a prequel to the original series and feature an isometric, top-down perspective instead of the franchise’s normal third-person follow camera, many were worried the game would be a watered-down version of what they were used to. When rumors broke that writer Tom King was being removed from DC’s Batman comic ahead of schedule–leaving his 100-issue plan effectively unresolved–speculation and theorizing raged online. Thankfully DC has now explained the reports, announcing King’s new series, Batman/Catwoman. The publisher has now confirmed that King’s upcoming “City Of Bane” storyline, previously intended to set up his years-long finale, will mark the end of the writer’s run on the book when it concludes in Batman #85....

Unfortunately, today, it could easily be a headline from the recent space of distributed-denial-of-service attacks targeted at private, education, government, and corporate networks & computer systems. According to Symantec’s recent whitepaper, titled ‘The Continued Rise of DDoS Attacks‘, 60 percent of companies were targeted by a DDoS attack last year, and 87 percent were hit more than once. And a survey by Neustar revealed that 91 percent of companies see DDoS attacks as the same or a bigger threat in 2014 than in the previous year....
